The role

As a Senior Platform Administrator Salesforce, you’ll be at the forefront of managing platform and hardware lifecycle management, ensuring seamless service delivery and tackling technical challenges head-on. Your role involves leading level 2 and 3 support for numerous Salesforce applications, resolving technical risks, and driving the development of high-performance ICT processes. You’ll also play a crucial part in implementing best practices for Salesforce platform design and build, ensuring optimal solutions for clients.

Balancing competing demands and developing a broad knowledge of platforms and the department’s complex technology portfolio will be integral to your success in this role. You’ll need to manage stakeholder expectations and team outcomes within tight timelines, all while maintaining technical standards and providing expert advice.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Administer and manage the Salesforce platform, including user setup, profiles, roles, and permissions.
  • Maintain data integrity by performing regular data audits, deduplication, and updates.
  • Create and manage complex reports, dashboards, and workflows to enhance business processes.
  • Implement and maintain Salesforce security protocols, including field-level security and sharing settings.
  • Customize Salesforce applications using custom objects, validation rules, and process builder.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot system performance and resolve technical issues as they arise.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
  • Basic experience deploying with changesets
  • Stay up-to-date with Salesforce releases and best practices to continually improve system performance.
  • Provide training and support to Salesforce users, addressing any issues or questions.

Essential requirements:

  • Certified Salesforce Administrator
  • Certified Salesforce App Builder
