As a Senior Digital Application Developer, you will enhance our Cluster's digital setup by giving day-to-day guidance on web apps and data models. Our focus is on making sure all business needs and standards are met. You will also be a part of developing and supporting web applications to keep things running smoothly, and we handle testing and deployment to ensure everything works well in production.

 

You will provide hands-on technical support, tackling issues quickly even under pressure. By working closely with both internal teams and external partners, we build strong relationships to ensure our service is efficient and responsive. Plus, we lend our expertise to projects from the analysis phase onward, using tools like Jira and Confluence to keep everything organised.

What you will bring to the role

 

  • Strong development experience with Drupal 8/9/10
  • Application development experience in complete web builds; ability to use and configure Drupal contributed modules as per the requirements; development of complex modules and custom functionality using custom modules and custom theming with Drupal APIs and twig templating; CMS implementation including workflows, moderation, version control and security/administration setup; content migration; REST APIs; and development of integrations using APIs and other web services, scheduled jobs.
  • Experience in system analysis and design including in requirements gathering and documenting functional requirements, understanding business requirements/process, designing web applications, integration and user interfaces.
  • Demonstrated experience in building responsive UIs using industry-standard technologies, frameworks and code libraries such as Bootstrap (3 and 4), any front-end framework Angular Js / React JS / Vue.js will be plus
  • Experience in front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5 and SCSS, CSS and any build tools such as Gulp.
  • Demonstrated experience in server-side programming languages, with strong focus on PHP; jQuery, HTML 5, SCSS, as well as experience with Source Control, Bitbucket, Git Repository and MySQL.
  • Accountability to provide timely, professional support, advice, training and analytics/reporting for existing digital products/services and content management systems, both to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience working inside an Agile team/framework.
  • Ability in working with modular and headless approaches to content management.
  • Preferred experience with cloud services (Acquia, AWS) and CI/CD pipelines.
