The role

The Senior IT Governance and Assurance Advisor assists in the design and implementation of IT governance and assurance processes. Effectively coordinating governance forums such as architecture review boards is a key accountability.  The role ensures design artefacts adhere to enterprise architecture frameworks and standards, identifying and mitigating any risks of non-compliance throughout the project lifecycle. This role involves quality assurance of design artefacts and maintaining up-to-date information in the enterprise architecture repository.

 

In this dynamic role, you’ll collaborate with architects, solution designers and project managers to navigate evolving standards, and stay ahead of the latest tech trends. The key objective of this role is to enhance our IT governance and assurance processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.

What you will bring to the role

  • Demonstrate experience in supporting IT governance processes.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Enterprise Architecture assurance process post governance.
  • Demonstrate knowledge on quality assurance process and conflict management.
  • Demonstrate understanding of PMO processes and project management methodology.
  • Knowledge of technologies including integration, cloud services and enterprise platform solutions. 
  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. 
  • Solid time management and organisational skills to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines efficiently. 
  • Capable of driving outcomes while effectively involving stakeholders throughout the process, fostering collaboration and buy-in. 

 

What is an essential requirement

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline and/or equivalent relevant experience.
