  • Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $106,025 base to $117,363 top + super

The Water Group is currently seeking to appoint Project Officers in a full-time temporary capacity to December 2026 supporting the delivery of infrastructure projects across NSW.

About the Role

In this role you will undertake project delivery management and support activities to contribute to the delivery of a range of projects, including design, procurement, management of construction, and handover to asset owners, all within established project scope, objectives, budget and timeframes.

Important is your ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion when dealing with external enquiries and stakeholders in a high-pressure environment and coordinating responses to urgent requests for information or advice.

About You

Establishing and maintaining strong and effective working relationships internally and externally within a large organisation and working proactively as part of a team with consistent systems and procedures will be imperative to success in the role.With an understanding of project delivery, you will support project management and oversee administrative processes in design, procurement, construction, as well as finance, community and stakeholder engagement and records management to support delivery of new and upgraded infrastructure; and evaluate technical and operational procedures for effectiveness and efficiency, recommending corrective actions and ensuring availability for staff.

Key knowledge and experience

  • Experience supporting programs or projects, and sound organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience providing executive, program or projects support services.
