  • Package includes salary, depending on experience, $120,859 - $133,183 plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading
  • Ongoing full time role available
  • Located in Parramatta– negotiable.

 

 

About the role

National Parks and Wildlife Service has a unique opportunity for a Team Leader to work as part of the team and contribute towards the conservation of the natural environment, flora, fauna and Aboriginal heritage.

 

The Team Leader is responsible for leading a team to support the growth of the protected area in NSW. The key functions include end to end processes for the purchasing of land, facilitating land transfers, and disposing of land, while effectively managing budgets to fulfill NSW Government and Corporate objectives.

 

About You

 

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about managing land acquisition, problem solving, project management and working collaboratively.  Your project planning skills will be key in juggling and meeting competing priorities, while your ability to motivate and influence your team will be the key to achieving outcomes in a busy and changing environment.  To be successful in the role, you will also have:

 

  • strong leadership skills to manage a diverse team and to implement the State-wide land acquisition program
  • very strong facilitation and negotiation skills
  • the ability to identify issues and manage competing priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • a high attention to detail and great communication skills

 

 

Essential requirements

  • Degree or equivalent qualifications in property valuation, land economics, or other relevant property related discipline and/or equivalent professional experience.
