The role

As a Senior Application Developer (Salesforce), you’ll be at the centre of a dynamic team, driving the development of complex applications that enhance business outcomes and efficiencies. Your role involves hands-on development while also guiding other developers, ensuring that every project aligns with our strategic goals and technical standards. You’ll provide expert technical consulting, manage the entire software development lifecycle, and champion innovative DevOps practices to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Day to day responsibilities will include:

  • Participate in daily team standups, provide updates and coordinate internally with the development team regarding work tasks.
  • Liaise with your Principal developer to prioritize development work and highlight any issues/blockers, if encountered.
  • Seek expert opinion on the completed work and then assign it to the QA team.
  • Liaise with BAs & QAs to make sure the assigned user story is developed as per the requirements and issues/bugs are addressed on priority

Key accountabilities in this role will include:

  • Involvement in the design, development, testing and support of Salesforce applications.
  • Provision of technical advice and support to stakeholders when required.
  • Experience in designing, configuring, building, and implementing Salesforce applications, using the declarative customization capabilities of the platform.
  • Ability to map client's functional requirements to Salesforce.com features and functionality.
  • Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile inconsistency, and break down high-level information into details.
  • Ability to work closely with a team of Architects, Developers from different disciplines as well as Business Analyst

What you will bring to the role

  • Experience with Omni Studio, Data raptors, Omni scripts and Flex cards is desirable.
  • Salesforce Platform App Builder or Platform Developer certifications are essential and any other Salesforce certifications are highly regarded.
  • Experience in continuous delivery and deployment pipeline is desirable.
  • Solid experience in Salesforce configuration, REST API integration, Apex scripting, SOQL, Salesforce DX, Salesforce CLI and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
