  • Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $93,295 to $102,941 + super

The role

Our Sector Performance and Innovations team is currently seeking to appoint a Commissions Analyst to provide administrative support and analytic services to the LGGC and the LGBC. The position works with the Executive Officer of the LGGC to analyse data and make recommendations to the Commission in allocating grants to Local Councils and supporting the Executive Officer of the LGBC in reviewing applications for boundary determinations.  

 

This newly created role will see you develop and maintain relationships with commissioners, Councils and members of the public, acting as a liaison between the LGGC members, Commissioners of the LGBC and OLG by providing positive and efficient client services.

What you will bring to the role

  • High level administrative skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and competing demands
  • High level of organisational skills with the ability to streamline processes, plan, co-ordinate and implement actions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
  • Effective communication skills-both written and verbal.
  • Discretion and professionalism with sensitive information 
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, fostering strong relationships and ensuring alignment with diverse stakeholders to achieve outcomes
