  • Permanent full-time role, location negotiable across NSW with a flexible/hybrid working model
  • TRP from $223k to $247k including superannuation, commensurate with experience

Crown Lands is currently seeking an experienced people leader and stakeholder engagement professional to join their Strategy, Policy and Transformation team.

As the Director Programs and Partnerships, you will manage teams and lead the design and delivery of strategic projects, programs and reforms to improve how Crown land is managed, in line with outcomes and priorities identified in the Crown Lands 2031: State Strategic Plan.

You will be responsible for creating and fostering strategic partnerships with Crown land managers, councils and other key stakeholders so that they work collaboratively with the Department towards the reform directions in the state strategic plan. This will include building Crown land managers’ operational capability and knowledge; and improving processes and resources for Crown land managers.

You will also oversee the administration of key grants programs to support Crown land managers upgrade and maintain key Crown land sites; and identify opportunities to improve their efficiency and strategic focus.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will be a highly motivated senior executive with extensive experience in program or project management and stakeholder engagement. You will have a strategic mindset and possess strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire direction and purpose within your team.

The key to your success will be your ability to establish and manage effective working relationships with stakeholders; a drive to deliver outstanding customer service whilst operating in a complex and dynamic environment; and outstanding problem-solving skills. You will also have strong executive level influencing skills as you will lead complex negotiations with industry, council, government or other stakeholder groups on matters relating to Crown land management.
