As the Senior Manager Environment and Ecology at Sydney Olympic Park, you'll lead a team to coordinate ecosystem management and ensure environmental compliance. Your role is pivotal in maintaining the park's biodiversity, overseeing conservation efforts, promoting integrated management of the parklands and liaising with regulatory authorities to uphold environmental standards.
You'll manage balancing diverse stakeholder needs while managing complex communications and strategic alliances. Your expertise will guide the development and implementation of environmental strategies, ensuring the park's flora and fauna thrive within a multifunctional urban parkland and next to a growing urban centre.
What you will bring to the role:

Extensive knowledge of parkland natural resource management principles and techniques for urban regional parks, threatened species, native fauna and flora habitat, wetlands, and waterways.
What is an essential requirement:

Relevant tertiary qualifications in natural sciences such as environment, agriculture, ecology, land management or related field, along with substantial compliance, management and technical experience in a relevant field
