About the Role

The Administration Support Officer, Director Support works in the Executive Support Unit in the Greater Sydney Branch, which is responsible for supporting a busy, dynamic team spread out across the Greater Sydney region. The successful candidate will perform various administrative and executive assistant duties, including diary management, developing and maintaining electronic filing systems, forward planning, and preparing emails and letters. Additionally, providing support in formatting reports, creating agendas, taking minutes at formal meetings, and organising meetings and events.

About you
Candidates must be self-motivated, capable of organising their own workload, and demonstrate strong time management skills.  The successful applicant will have a proven background showcasing excellent written and verbal communication skills, a proactive and friendly attitude, and the capability to build effective relationships with a diverse range of staff within the agency and key stakeholders. You will adopt a flexible approach to your work in this dynamic environment and thrive in a busy setting to meet tight deadlines.

You should be a confident, innovative, and motivated individual and an enthusiastic and competent executive assistant with a high standard of accuracy and able to demonstrate initiative in managing your workload.

Essential Requirements

  • Experience in administration including experience in the use of computer based systems such as word processing, spreadsheet and records management systems.
  • Knowledge of financial and human resource management procedures, policies and practices, and contract administration.
