We have an exciting Opportunity for a Services Coordinator to join our team and make a significant impact!

  • Salary ranges from $97,027 to $107,059 + sport and recreation allowance, super & leave loading.
  • Ongoing full-time opportunity based at Lake Ainsworth Sport and Recreation Centre

 

About the role

As a Services Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of ensuring our Centre runs smoothly and efficiently. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on variety and enjoys a mix of planning, coordinating, and hands-on supervision. You'll be responsible for overseeing facility maintenance, catering services, and other support roles, ensuring that we deliver top-notch customer service. Your day-to-day tasks will include budgeting, invoicing, procurement, and supervising staff, all while maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.

In this role, you'll conduct regular inspection and management of the Centre facilities, manage contracts, oversee WHS compliance, and coordinate equipment purchasing. You'll also be responsible for ensuring your team understands and upholds our food safety standards. The role comes with on-call responsibilities, shared equally among the management team.

About you

 

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in facility management, catering, and hospitality services, coupled with excellent organisational and leadership skills. Your strong communication skills enable you to effectively manage and motivate staff, ensuring high standards of service delivery. You are detail-oriented and proficient in handling financial and administrative tasks, including budgeting, invoicing, and procurement.

Your ability to monitor and maintain facility conditions, along with your knowledge of regulatory standards, will be critical to ensuring a safe and compliant environment for everyone.

 

You are flexible and adaptable, capable of managing changing client needs and priorities with ease. Your strong organisational skills and commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient Centre will make you a valuable member of our team.

Essential requirements:

Current Class C drivers licence.

To be eligible to apply for this position, you must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident or hold a valid Australian working Visa for the duration of the appointment. Any offer of employment will be subject to a satisfactory National Police Check and Pre-Employment Health Assessment. You will also be required to arrange a Working with Children Check (WWCC) at your own expense.

 

All employees will also need to complete an audiometric test (Hearing test) within 3 months of starting employment (baseline test) and a follow-up Hearing test at least every 2 years.
