The role
The Program Manager in the Grants and Delivery team leads the management and delivery of multiple programs, works with delivery agencies to ensure project and program objectives are achieved efficiently.
Leading a small team, you will manage and lead the delivery of multiple planning and infrastructure grant programs like the Accelerated Infrastructure Program and work closely with delivery agencies and central agencies to achieve program and project performance, manage risks and have highly developed interpersonal skills for effective issues resolution, as well as providing accurate and timely reporting whilst managing the program schedule and budgets.
You will be an experienced program manager who can lead effective grant program delivery within an approved governance framework, work closely with internal and with key external stakeholders to manage delivery of projects and programs that may have multiple inter-dependencies, consultation with agencies and council, ensuring agreed governance and assurance processes are undertaken and compliance to the NSW Grant Administration Guide is met.

Essential requirements
- Degree or relevant experience in program management, public policy, environmental management, town planning, science or a related field
- Leadership skills with the ability to develop the capability of staff and manage a team
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Experience in program management and leading teams
