The role

You will provide expert procurement and contract management support, ensuring efficient sourcing, supplier performance, and compliance with statutory and policy requirements. You will work closely with stakeholders to assess business needs, manage supplier relationships, and drive procurement best practices to deliver value-for-money outcomes. A key focus will be on maintaining accurate procurement records, implementing contract management plans, and resolving issues to enhance business performance.

What you will bring to the role

  • Understanding of procurement and contract management, ensuring transparency and value-for-money outcomes.
  • Extremely organised and sound knowledge and experience with Microsoft applications.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, fostering strong relationships with vendors and internal teams.
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving skills, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures.

What is an essential requirement:

  • Demonstrated understanding of procurement and contract management within a government or large organisational context.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices related to procurement and contract management.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills with the ability to interpret and explain contract requirements.
