The role
Your role is all about driving meaningful change in diversity, inclusion, and belonging across the Department. You'll collaborate with senior leaders, employee networks, and external and internal partners to identify challenges, implement inclusive strategies, action plans training, and embed best practices. Balancing multiple projects, you'll ensure that diversity initiatives are integrated into the organisation’s culture with good governance while also tracking progress and measuring impact.
To succeed, you’ll need to have genuine passion and inspiring enthusiasm for diversity, inclusion and belonging. You will need to meaningfully engage employees at all levels, navigate complex environments, and manage competing priorities while delivering real and progressive change for an inclusive culture. Your ability to advocate, communicate effectively, build partnerships, and provide expert guidance will be key to creating an inclusive and high-performing workplace.

About you:
- Expertise in being an advocate for diversity with demonstrated results in this space.
- Proven experience in developing and delivering diversity and inclusion strategies and action plans.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Expertise in navigating legislative requirements and reporting related to diversity and inclusion.
- Skilled in designing and facilitating impactful training, campaigns and awareness programs.
- Experience in managing multiple projects and reporting on diversity initiatives.
What is an essential requirement:
- Tertiary qualification in Diversity and Inclusion, HR, Business, Engagement or other relevant experience
