About the role

National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) has a unique opportunity for an Asset Management System (AMS) Officer within the Assets & Infrastructure Branch.

As an AMS Officer, you will provide high level advice and support to the Team Leader AMS and Park Operation Branches in the continuous improvement and implementation of the AMS for NPWS. You will also be responsible for providing strategic and professional guidance to Assistant AMS Officers and field staff on asset lifecycle planning, development, maintenance and conservation programs.

The role is also responsible for providing broader AMS system support, administration, and training for NPWS staff.

About You

Furthermore, you will have experience in supporting the management of a large and diverse asset portfolio, potentially across Branch boundaries, including heritage assets and capital infrastructure in a sensitive environment.
