As a Catering Officer, you'll play a crucial role in preparing and cooking high-quality meals for clients participating in our diverse programs. Your key responsibilities will include catering to various dietary needs ensuring hygiene and quality control, managing stock, and maintaining kitchen safety standards.

Role Description - Catering Officer
About you
The ideal candidate for this role will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals from raw ingredients, ensuring they meet hygiene, quantity, and quality standards. You will manage stock by rotating items based on expiry dates, ordering supplies, and checking the quality of received goods. Additionally, you will maintain cleanliness and safety in the kitchen and storage areas, ensuring compliance with food handling regulations. The key challenges include preparing high-quality meals to suit various dietary needs, enabling flexibility in catering to meet program delivery priorities, and meeting strict timetable requirements for mealtimes.
To be eligible to apply for this position, you must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident or hold a valid Australian working Visa for the duration of the appointment. Any offer of employment will be subject to a satisfactory National Police Check and Pre-Employment Health Assessment. You will also need to arrange a Working with Children Check, at your own expense.
