Our Corporate and Enabling Services area is growing, and we are seeking to appoint an experienced Accommodation Manager to support our broad and multifaceted department.
About the Role
In this exciting new position, you will oversee all leasing, property management, and compliance activities for our extensive portfolio. You'll address accommodation needs, monitor space utilisation, and manage relocations and building restacks, all while ensuring adherence to relevant laws and policies.
In this role you will:
- Develop and oversee our Strategic Property Plan, ensuring key objectives are met across commercial, retail, and residential properties.
- Create and implement a reporting framework for high-level analytical reports on Strategic Property Plan outcomes and leasing program success.
- Lead negotiations and execute lease agreements to deliver state-wide commercial returns
- Collaborate with business units to understand their needs, manage accommodation requirements, and mitigate risks.
- Make independent decisions while collaborating with stakeholders to gather diverse information and views.
- Will have accountability for providing high-quality advice and successfully delivering projects/programs on time and within budget.
About You
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Extensive experience in leading the development and delivery of innovative best practices in managing commercial agreements and contracts, including lease arrangements, property management, utilities, access rights, and easements.
- Comprehensive knowledge of commercial property management processes, legal standards, relevant legislation, financial systems, and property management principles.
- A proven track record of negotiating financially robust agreements and delivering exceptional results.
