Join the Property Development and Valuation team as a Development Officer, where you'll contribute to the strategic management of government property assets. This role offers the opportunity to work on projects that integrate urban design, environmental considerations, planning regulations, and heritage constraints while delivering valuable outcomes for the community.
About the role:
- Provide project management and support to ensure the successful development and transaction of government property assets.
- Conduct research and due diligence, developing strategic recommendations that optimize financial returns, efficiency, quality, and risk management.
- Collaborate with specialist service providers in environmental, heritage, planning, legal, construction, and infrastructure disciplines.
- Prepare and maintain project reports, tracking performance against milestones, objectives, budgets, and financial records.
- Identify and proactively address potential project challenges, contributing innovative solutions.
- Ensure compliance with government policies, procedures, and best practices in property development and transactions.
