  • Lead advertising campaigns for the Botanic Gardens of Sydney
  • 3 days p/w (Tues, Wed and Fri) temporary until 31 December 2025
  • Royal Botanic Garden Sydney location (onsite 3 days p/w)
  • Clerk Grade 7/8 offering salary relative to experience and ranges from $110,266 to $122,058 + super (pro-rata)

 

Botanic Gardens of Sydney is the organisation working on behalf of the Royal Botanic Gardens and Domain Trust, which is established under the Royal Botanic Gardens and Domain Trust Act 1980. The organisation encompasses Australia’s premier botanical research institute, Sydney’s leading outdoor live entertainment and activation precinct, and three world-leading botanic gardens and international tourism destinations.

 

The role

The Campaigns & Engagement Lead contributes to the delivery of the gardens owned digital channels and activities (including website, email, app and paid media platforms) to meet commercial and marketing objectives.

You will collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager in the design and delivery of cross-channel marketing campaigns to deliver revenue, visitation and brand campaign targets and contribute to the development of digital and print content (including copywriting, video and design outputs) ensuring operational requirements are met.

Key knowledge and experience

  • Experience in the delivery of data-driven digital marketing and engagement activities with an ability to create content for diverse audiences
  • Demonstrated understanding of current issues and trends relating to science, cultural heritage, tourism, horticulture, philanthropy and education
  • Demonstrated practical experience with marketing technologies including CMS (Kentico, Drupal or the like), SEO, digital monitoring and listening tools, Google Ads, Facebook Ad Manager and customer data tools

 Essential requirements 

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Business or Communications or related discipline and/or equivalent experience
