As Principal DevOps Lead, you’ll be at the forefront of driving technical leadership and innovation in cloud infrastructure and service deployment. Your role is all about ensuring seamless technology-based services—designing, upgrading, and managing operations while maintaining the integrity of core public cloud hosted systems. You’ll evaluate new solutions, oversee installations and decommissioning, and provide strategic advice on cloud technologies, specifically Azure and/or AWS cloud security posture to keep the organisation ahead of the curve.
Balancing immediate support requests with long-term service improvements will be key. You’ll need to sustain existing services while integrating new initiatives in a dynamic, complex environment. Prioritising tasks to meet business deadlines and SLAs is crucial, ensuring hosting systems run smoothly while proactively resolving potential service issues before they escalate.
