About the role

As a Senior Policy Officer Strategic Advice, you will provide support and advice to the Heritage NSW Executive Director and senior management team to assist in their strategic decision making and fulfilment of organisational priorities. You will coordinate a range of requests for information or input, ensuring the correct information is sourced and presented in a way that is appropriate for its purpose.

The Senior Policy Officer Strategic Advice helps the executive to prepare for and resolve business-critical issues by identifying and prioritising emerging issues, considering opportunities and risks, and helping to identify solutions. You will also contribute to projects and initiatives with a focus on continuous improvement and delivery of DCCEEW’s strategic objectives.

 

Knowledge and Experience

  • Extensive knowledge and experience working in a fast paced and high-volume office, including proven capacity to support senior management in the management of high-profile issues and projects.
