The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity available to undertake diverse activities in accordance with the legislation administered by the EPA in assigned regulatory area/s or other EPA operational priorities. The role may also be required to manage major projects within EPA involving technically complex tasks and provide direction and expert advice to other officers.

We are looking for an outcomes focused passionate advocate for the EPA.

About the Team

The position is within the Incident Management Unit where you will be involved in:

• providing advice to operations officers on best practice incident response, including being part of a 24/7 roster
• working on building the incident response capability of operations officers through delivering training programs and exercises to test and keep skills current
• contributing to continuous improvement by facilitating and conducting after action reviews and identifying lessons to inform new and improved procedures.
• Maintaining the EPA’s incident management system
