About the Net Zero Transport Team
Our team is delivering over $300 million in initiatives to support fleets, expand public EV charging infrastructure, and empower consumers through better information. In this role, you'll manage contracts for high-impact grants and ensure grantees deliver on their commitments—installing fast, kerbside, and destination EV chargers across NSW. By overseeing contracts across key programs, you’ll drive accountability and help build a reliable, accessible EV charging network statewide.
About the Roles
You will be involved in leading the development of fit-for-purpose contract management frameworks, tools, and processes to support the effective delivery of these high-value programs.
With a strong focus on collaboration and compliance, you’ll coordinate contract negotiations, variations, and milestone payments, while identifying and resolving risks and roadblocks.
By managing data collection and reporting from grantees, contract deliverables and variations, liaising with legal teams, and supporting future funding rounds, you'll ensure grant management is both strategic and seamless from end to end.
One role will be responsible for contract managing grants within the EV fast charging program and one role will be responsible for contract managing grants within the EV kerbside and EV destination charging programs.
About You
You will be an experienced contract manager with expertise in delivering high-value agreements on time and to standard. You bring advanced negotiation skills, sound judgment, and a practical understanding of grants or program delivery. Highly organised and solutions-focused, you thrive in fast-paced environments and know how to balance competing priorities while ensuring accountability and transparency across multiple stakeholders.
Essential Requirements –
- Tertiary qualifications in contract management, legal studies, or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
- Proven experience in commercial and/or grants contract management, with a strong track record of supporting project delivery within scope, on time, and to a high standard— including drafting, reviewing, and analysing contract documentation.
