  • Office location – Newcastle based, other locations will be considered.
  • Salary relative to experience and ranges from $125,693 to $138,510 + super

The role

The Group Leader Revenue Projects and reporting is responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to revenue data analytics, forecasting, modelling, and reporting to support strategic planning and decision-making processes. This role manages projects to ensure successful outcomes and leads a small team to ensure accurate and timely financial processing and reporting.

What you will bring to the role

  • A strategic mindset, capable of translating complex financial data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and BI reporting (intermediate to advanced level).
  • Knowledge of financial statutory requirements and financial reporting.
  • Experience in project management, including problem solving skills and ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Solid time management and organisational skills, with the ability to handle complex workloads.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to lead, manage and develop staff.
  • Membership with an accounting body such as CPA Australia or Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ) will be highly regarded

 

What is an essential requirement:

  • Tertiary qualifications in finance, economics or related discipline and equivalent experience.
  • Current Drivers Licence and willingness to travel.
