The role
We are looking for a Senior Financial Policy Officer to join our Finance team at the Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure. In this pivotal role, you'll lead the preparation and evaluation of Cabinet Submissions, Budget Estimates, House Folder Notes, and other critical government documents. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders and government agencies to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant documentation that supports high-level decision-making. This role demands a keen eye for detail, a deep understanding of government protocols, and the ability to navigate complex, high-stakes policy environments.
As a Senior Financial Policy Officer, you will also manage the review and development of in-house finance policies, ensuring alignment with legislative and regulatory requirements while supporting governance and audit functions across the Department.
