About the role

National Parks and Wildlife Service has a unique opportunity for a Project Officer to work as part of a team and contribute towards the conservation of protected animals in New South Wales

 

As a Project Officer you will manage and coordinate the development, implementation and evaluation of diverse and complex projects, ensuring completion within required deadlines and quality standards. You will be required to collaborate and consult with stakeholders and apply their input into complex projects including the development of wildlife rehabilitation standards, data reporting and analysis, quality assurance assessments and capacity building. The role will contribute to the implementation of the NSW Koala Strategy and the NPWS wildlife rehabilitation program

About You

 

We are looking for a dynamic Project Officer with excellent collaboration, communication, project management, critical thinking and  data management skills. As Project Officer you will be comfortable managing stakeholder engagement, undertaking regulatory assessments and developing resources that build stakeholder capacity.

 

Essential Requirements

 

  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent relevant working experience in project management.
  • Experience in development and delivery of projects, including the development of project plans, monitoring of project timelines, budgets and reporting requirements, and contract administration.
