  • Temporary full-time (35 hours per week) 12 months opportunity
  • Parramatta, NSW location with Hybrid working supported
  • Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $82,193 to $90,001 + super

The Natural Resource Access Regulator (NRAR) is currently seeking to appoint an Administration Support Officer to provide customer service, and administrative and project support to the Contact Centre, including processing financial transactions and processing Suspicious Activity Reports.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated ability to provide clerical and project administrative support, manage records, and conduct records searches for the team, and assisting others in using systems and databases. 
  • Experience in answering a diverse range of customer inquiries and routine information requests across multiple communication channels to assist in effectively resolving customer enquiries and issues by providing accurate advice and de-escalating issues. 
  • Experience in providing administrative and business systems support, focusing on key areas such as onboarding, offboarding, asset management, accounts payable and receivable support, legal procurement, and the distribution of compliance tools.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders to address highly confidential and sensitive discretionary matters while ensuring timely responses and quality outcomes. 

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience in providing a customer facing service, triaging customer enquiries and providing a range of clerical, administrative and general support services in a high-volume environment
  • Awareness of NRARs functions within water management legislation, with a broad understanding of Water Management framework in NSW
  • Willing to work in a call centre environment with fixed hours and defined break times when requested, and available to work between 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday
