  • Temporary full-time opportunity to October 2026 (Parental Leave Cover)
  • Office location – Parramatta/Newcastle/Orange, other locations considered
  • Salary relative to experience and ranges from $113,574 to $125,720 + super

The role

Crown Lands is currently seeking to appoint a Valuer to support, undertake and review a range of market valuations both internally and from external valuers in accordance with the rent redetermination valuation program under the direction of the Senior Valuer and Valuation Manager.

 

As the Valuer you will be responsible for but not limited to: 

  • Make valuations for the Crown Lands’ rental valuation program including the management of allocated external valuation contracts and quality assurance of mass valuation processes for the Crown Land Estate as well as rent redeterminations for high and low value tenures
  • Provide internal valuation advice to internal and external stakeholders and clients in relation to a range of leasing, sales, and disposal matters
  • Undertake market and financial analysis relating to crown land tenures and disposals.
  • Analyse market and rental data to identify opportunities to improve returns and reduce costs
  • Provide input into the development of policy documentation for high level and complex valuation contracts with specific industry focus

What you will bring to the role

  • Experience as a qualified property valuer, including commercial valuation experience.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Customer-focused mindset with attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

 

Essential Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in valuation, property, economics, commerce, business or a related field, and minimum Associate Membership of the Australian Property Institute with Certified Practicing Valuer accreditation (or equivalent)
  • Current drivers’ licence and willingness to travel
