  • Contribute to planning performance in NSW

  • Parramatta office (onsite Wed + Thurs minimum) flexible supported
  • Salary relative to experience and ranges from $113,574 - $125,720+ super 

At the heart of the New South Wales (NSW) planning system, the Planning Group takes centre stage. Driven by the NSW Government’s unwavering commitment to tackle the critical housing issue, we provide essential support and strategic guidance. The Planning Land Use Strategy, Housing and Infrastructure (PLUSHI) team are the driving force behind the Department's strategic planning, policy, rezoning, and infrastructure projects, all aimed at making New South Wales a better place to live.

 

The role 

The Performance Analyst delivers high quality data analysis to support the functions of the Program Delivery and Reporting team in reporting on current and future performance of planning in NSW.

About You

Your role is integral to the teams’ ability to deliver business critical performance reporting related to planning outcomes for NSW, delivering meaningful and actionable business performance analytics that inform decision making around assessment practice and performance.

You will bring demonstrable experience in application of relevant approaches and techniques for research, analytics, forecasting and/ or statistical analysis as well as proficiency in Power BI for data analysis, report development, and dashboard creation, and develop new reporting templates to meet business requirements and enable the efficient utilisation of system capabilities.

 

Essential requirements

  • Degree in statistics, data analytics, environmental science, planning or other relevant discipline.
