  • Salary relative to experience and ranges from $125,693 to $138,510 + super

The role

The Group Leader, Divestments manages teams to determine or finalise divestments; driving excellent customer service and service delivery in line with operational service standards, to achieve government priorities in the management of Crown land.  

 

What you’ll be doing

  • Manage specialist teams that provide excellent customer service in determining or finalising divestments.
  • Effectively lead specialist teams to achieve targets by planning and coordinating group resources to manage competing priorities and meet program targets in a high-volume work environment.
  • Develop operational policy and procedures in response to shifts in government and departmental priorities, and design and implement projects to address business needs.
  • Identify opportunities for continual service and process improvement, integrating and amending current processes to improve customer engagement, cost and resource effectiveness, and business systems improvements.
  • Provide high level and specialist advice and support on complex Crown land issues that are across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Establish and maintain stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation and issues management to engage stakeholders and ensure team deliverables are met.

What you will bring to the role

  • Thorough working knowledge and experience in the management and administration of land and property and good understanding of the business environment
  • Good experience and skills in team and operational management.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of the relevant Crown Lands legislation and acts relating to divestments. 
  • Strong analytical skills and commercial acumen
  • A collaborative mindset
  • Exceptional attention to detail

 

Essential requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field and/or equivalent level of knowledge and experience.
