We are seeking to appoint a Senior Investigations Officer, responsible for conducting and leading complex investigations into potential breaches of conduct within the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW). This role ensures compliance with conduct and governance requirements and provides expert advice on investigative matters.
About You
The Senior Investigations Officer manages investigations into misconduct matters, maladministration and other issues that may require early intervention concerning the department.
You will support the manager in leading and coordinating multiple complex investigations, often highly confidential, to ensure effective delivery in a high-pressure work environment, with competing priorities and deadlines and facilitate the engagement of relevant internal and external stakeholders to address sensitive issues and collaborate on initiatives to maintain the integrity of the department.
Key knowledge and experience
Essential requirements
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or equivalent work experience in corporate governance, risk and investigations.
