  • Multiple Project Officer roles up to December 2026
  • Full-time at 35 hours per week plus FlexTime
  • Located in Deniliquin, Albury, Wagga Wagga or other southern regional location by negotiation
  • Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $113,574 to $125,720 plus super

 

The Infrastructure Project team is seeking to appoint multiple Project Officers to play a key role in the delivery of infrastructure projects to meet the NSW Government’s commitments including Sustainable Diversion Limit Adjustment Mechanism (SDLAM) Acceleration, Northern Basin Toolkit – Fish for the Future, Nyngan to Cobar Pipeline, Wilcannia Weir and Reconnecting River Country Early Works.

The Project Officer role undertakes project management and support activities to contribute to the development and delivery of a range of projects, including operational policy and procedure development and legislative reform within established objectives.

These roles are based in Deniliquin, Albury, Wagga Wagga or a southern regional office near the respective projects and do require travel to site.

 

About You

To be successful in the role you will have experience in supporting the delivery major water or natural resource infrastructure programs or projects and providing executive support services, given tight deadlines, limited resources and the need to manage competing priorities.

With a high level of integrity, you have the demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion when dealing with external enquiries and stakeholders in a high pressure environment and coordinating responses to urgent requests for information or advice.

You enjoy working in a team and have good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to establish and maintain strong and effective working relationships internally and externally within a large organisation.

You have good organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail and enjoy working proactively as part of a collaborative team, ensuring work is carried out according to consistent systems and procedures.
