  • Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $94,423 to $105,016 + super

Our Spatial Services & Customer Delivery Team (Strategic Policy Science & Engagement) is seeking a highly motivated Assistant Project Officer – Map Review to support the delivery of the Landholder Initiated Map Review Program.

The Landholder Initiated Map Review Program exists to provide expert advice and facilitate reviews of the NSW Native Vegetation Regulatory Map and the NSW Biodiversity Values Map. This is your opportunity to be a part of a thriving team and have direct impact on a number of conservation initiatives.

About You

As the Assistant Project Officer - Map Review you will assist in the development of operational policy and programs, and in the provision of guidance and technical support to facilitate the regional delivery of the Landholder Initiated Map Review Program. You will enjoy engaging directly with customers to provide advice, process explanation reports and landholder-initiated map review applications. You will thrive in a team environment, engage with multiple stakeholders, and ensure the accurate and rigorous delivery of map review advice.

Key knowledge and experience

  • Experience working in a program/project support role in a complex government program or similar program environment.
  • Demonstrated program/project experience including well developed time management and organisational skills with a proven ability to manage a high-volume workload, prioritise work and meet strict timelines.
  • Demonstrated experience in environmental education, science communications, customer service environmental management environmental science, planning or environmental engineering.
