The role
The primary focus of the Alpine Resorts Team is undertaking assessment of development applications under Part 4 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act in the Alpine Resorts located in the Kosciuszko National Park where the Minister for Planning is the consent authority.
The Alpine Resorts Team is also responsible for functions under Part 4A of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act associated with the role of a Certifying Authority and a Principal Certifying Authority.
Additional responsibilities of the Alpine Resorts Team include involvement in major and State significant projects where the Minister for Planning is the consent authority under Part 3A of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act

What you will bring to the role
- Experienced in delivering customer-focused administrative services, including managing development applications, construction and occupation certificates, and fire safety statements in compliance with the Environmental Planning & Assessment Act and Regulations.
- Proficient in business systems and performance improvement, with the ability to interpret and apply organisational policies, including HR and financial procedures, and confidently use finance and HR platforms.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with a proven ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced administrative environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement, demonstrating strong written and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships across internal teams and external partners.
- Committed to ethical and inclusive practices, with sound knowledge and implementation of EEO, ethical standards, Ethnic Affairs Priorities Statements (EAPS), and occupational health and safety (OHS) requirements.
