About the role

The Administrative Support Officer provides quality customer service and administrative support services to the West Branch area team.  This pivotal role provides a wide range of administrative support services to facilitate the operation of the team such as financial and records management, routine correspondence, meeting and event coordination, HR administration and reporting.  Working closely with the Director and team leaders you will be relied upon to communicate key information, management of due dates of tasks, financial processing and monitoring, recruitment, calendar management and day to day administrative tasks.  To ensure the smooth running of the Branch, you’ll utilise your savvy business systems knowledge (SAP, CM10, Microsoft Word and Excel) and superior organisational and communication skills.

 

About you

You’ll be able to demonstrate your superior attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines and provide project support within a busy and diverse work environment.  We’re keen to hear from you if have strong financial management and procurement skills, people management and coordination skills and ideally have previous experience in a similar administration role with a strong working knowledge of business systems including procurement.  Your communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other staff and stakeholders is also key to your success in this role.

 

Key knowledge and Experience

  • Experience in administration including experience in the use of computer based systems such as word processing, spreadsheet and records management systems.
  • Knowledge of financial and human resource management procedures, policies and practices, and contract administration.
