  • Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $129,464.00 to $142,665 + super

The role

In this role, you’ll lead the delivery and day-to-day management of workplace technology, audio-visual systems, and ICT infrastructure that keep NSW Government workplaces running smoothly and ready for the future. You’ll drive technology solutions that improve service delivery, support innovation, and align with organisational priorities ensuring systems are efficient, secure, and enhance the experience for staff and stakeholders.

You’ll balance multiple priorities from delivering new tech projects to maintaining operational stability — all while navigating evolving technologies and government frameworks. Working closely with stakeholders, you’ll foster collaboration, manage risk, and lead a high-performing team focused on continuous improvement and best practice in ICT operations. The role will also require a high level of ongoing performance assessment of existing third-party vendor SLA’s as well as contract management and procurement activities.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Proven experience in workplace technology delivery, audio-visual systems integration, and workplace technology business-as-usual operations, with the ability to manage complex technical environments.
  • Strong project management skills, with a proven track record of successfully delivering technology and infrastructure projects on time and within budget.
  • Demonstrated capability in ICT operations management, ensuring systems and services run efficiently, securely, and in line with organisational goals.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, enabling collaboration across diverse teams and external partners.
  • A focus on continuous improvement, innovation, and best practice in technology delivery and operational performance.
  • Thorough understanding of workplace network topology, Audio Visual network requirements and general workplace tech.
  • Relevant experience and or qualifications in ITIL framework and ITSM deployment

What is an essential requirement:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or related discipline, or relevant equivalent experience.
