About the role
Heritage NSW is seeking to appoint a Business Support Officer to be the initial point of contact within our Customer Concierge Team. As part of the role, you will deliver excellent customer service across the organisation, undertake administrative support services and manage administrative systems including records management, routine correspondence and data entry.
This role involves working collaboratively as part of a small team, sharing responsibility for all customer interactions via email and phone. We use a variety of platforms and systems to process applications and requests, with Zendesk being our CRM, and we support customers such as local councils, consultants and the general public.
About You
You will have experience in a customer-facing environment with the ability to deal with enquiries in a timely fashion, use your initiative and positivity to problem-solve, and escalate issues as required to obtain accurate information.
Knowledge and Experience
- Experience in providing business, coordination and administration support.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with, and understand issues impacting on, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
