• Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $109,102.00 to $120,542.00 + super

The Credit Supply Branch is currently seeking to appoint a Project Officer to effectively track and report credit inventory across and ensure transparency, accuracy and informed decision-making across the organisations credit supply initiatives.

About You
We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative professional with experience supporting financial operations and reporting within environmental and sustainability-focused programs. You will contribute to the development and implementation of reporting tools that track biodiversity credit transactions, ensuring data integrity and timely insights to support strategic decision-making. The role involves managing reporting processes, monitoring financial results, and facilitating accurate payment processing through SAP.
You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to foster strong relationships, identify opportunities for collaboration, and improve operational efficiency. You will actively participate in enhancing management reporting systems, navigating legacy platforms, and tailoring communication to diverse audiences. Your focus is on delivering clear, actionable information and continuously improving tools and processes to support consistent program outcomes.

Key knowledge and experience
• Experience in developing reporting tools and data analysis
• Experience in using SAP or similar financial information system and MS Excel.
• Understanding of the NSW Biodiversity Offsets Scheme and the offset rules would be an advantage
• Knowledge and experience of environmental markets and/or funds management would be an advantage.

Essential Requirements

• Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or experience in data analysis, environment, finance, project monitoring or similar.
