At the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment & Water (DCCEEW), we lead the way on climate action, clean energy, and environmental protection. We’re looking for an Application Portfolio Analyst to join our Corporate and Enabling Services team and help us manage and optimise the applications that power our work.
What You’ll Do
- Govern and maintain the department’s application inventory, ensuring alignment with our technology roadmap.
- Drive strategies for application consolidation and uplift, delivering value for money and business outcomes.
- Act as a trusted advisor to business units, influencing technology decisions and supporting project delivery.
- Document and review application lifecycle status, ownership, and technology stack.
About You
You bring strong knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle, application architecture, and cloud-based systems, coupled with the ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders while balancing competing priorities. Your experience in project management and service catalogue management complements a proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement and maintaining robust cyber security practices.
Essential requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field and/or relevant experience in the governance and management of Information Technology applications in a complex environment.
