The NSW Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) Information Technology team is currently seeking to appoint a Digital Applications Developer to help build the digital products which help shape tomorrow’s solutions today.
About the role
As a Digital Applications Developer, you’ll play a key part in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team. You’ll design and deliver low-code and web applications that drive business outcomes and improve efficiency, using innovative SaaS technologies and agile DevOps practices.
Key responsibilities
- Provide technical consulting and expertise throughout the application development lifecycle, ensuring solutions align with DCCEEW’s strategy and architecture.
- Lead the development and implementation of software solutions, ensuring high standards for quality and compliance are met.
- Champion DevOps and agile delivery by promoting innovation and continuous improvement.
- Support the deployment of applications to production and deliver ongoing technical support.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to deliver robust, scalable solutions.
About you
You’re a motivated developer with:
- Demonstrated experience across the Software Development Lifecycle, application architecture, and cloud-based systems
- Proven ability to balance the requirements of AI/ML application development with maintaining quality and performance
- A commitment to cyber security and best practice in digital resource management
- Strong skills in problem-solving, collaboration, and communication
