About the Role

The Metering Contracts Team is seeking an Assistant Project Officer to provide project coordination and administrative support for the Telemetry Uplift Program (TUP). This is an exciting project that supports water metering compliance, works closely with contractors in the field, Water NSW and other external stakeholders. 

What You’ll Do

  • Support the delivery of water metering and licensing projects by coordinating activities, monitoring the program inbox, and maintaining accurate records
  • Manage the TUP data sets with new applications and process data from water management platforms
  • Manage eligibility assessments for grant applications
  • Utilise digital tools and systems to engage with both internal and external stakeholders, record correspondence, address contractor enquiries, and respond as necessary
  • Assist with organising meetings, minutes, preparing reports, processing invoices and managing project documentation
  • Undertake research and support the team with analysis to help identify issues and develop solutions
