About the role
The Partnerships Coordinator plays a key role in fostering relationships with education, sporting, and community organisations to expand the reach and impact of the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award across NSW. The position focuses on developing partnerships, identifying sponsorship opportunities, and implementing strategies that improve access for disadvantaged young people.

 

This role involves coordinating promotional activities, providing accurate advice on compliance, and supporting informed decision-making through data analysis. It requires balancing multiple projects under tight deadlines while maintaining collaborative relationships with stakeholders to achieve program growth and engagement objectives.

About you

You excel at managing relationships, delivering results, and communicating effectively across diverse audiences. Your ability to plan, prioritise, and adapt ensures successful outcomes in a dynamic environment. Our ideal candidate will bring to the role:

  • Strong communication skills to explain complex concepts clearly and tailor messages to different audiences.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build supportive networks with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Proven capability to deliver results within agreed timeframes and standards.
  • Resilience and adaptability to manage competing priorities and changing circumstances.
  • Competence in project and event management, including end-to-end planning, research, documentation, stakeholder coordination, and tracking milestones to achieve successful outcomes
  • Commitment to customer service and creating positive experiences for participants.
  • Understanding of compliance requirements and ability to provide accurate advice.
  • Skills in planning and implementing promotional strategies to enhance program awareness.

 

 

Essential Requirements

Current Class C drivers licence

 

To be eligible to apply for this position, you must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident or hold a valid Australian working Visa for the duration of the appointment. Any offer of employment will be subject to a satisfactory National Police Check. You will also need to arrange a Working with Children Check, at your own expense.
