  • Temporary full-time opportunity until 15 Feb 2028 with the possibility for extension (35 hours per week)
  • Based in Parramatta with flexible working options supported
  • Salary ranges from $ 113,574 to $ 125,720 (depending on experience) + superannuation + leave loading 

 

The Business Support Officer is a newly created role within the IT Delivery & Transformation Team, supporting effective business operations across the IT Division.

 

About the Role

As the Business Support Officer, you will support the smooth delivery of business operations by overseeing administrative services, handling complex enquiries, and maintaining effective systems, processes and communication across the IT division.

 

About You

You are organised, proactive and confident managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. You communicate clearly, work collaboratively with stakeholders and handle sensitive matters with professionalism.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience coordinating a range of administrative and support services.
  • Ability to manage complex or sensitive enquiries and resolve issues promptly.
  • Experience improving administrative systems, processes and policies.
  • Strong reporting skills, including collecting and analysing information.
  • Experience preparing briefing notes, presentations and correspondence.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • High-level business administration and coordination experience.
  • Ability to support senior staff and high-pressure projects.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or relevant industry experience in one or more of the following fields: accounting/finance, procurement, business administration, human resources, management or related discipline.
