About the role
The Senior Project Officer will manage and coordinate issues related to various systems, ensuring completion within required deadlines and quality standards to support operational objectives. We are looking for highly motivated individuals with the initiative, ability, and desire to work in a small, dynamic, and productive team.

About you
As a Senior Project Officer you will manage, deliver and review system issues; managing the delivery of issue resolution and day-to-day operations of a complex system. You will liaise with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth delivery of issues resolution, including monitoring and reporting of resource requirements and stakeholder engagement/communication.

Your strong attention to detail and proficiency in project management will be key to your success in this role. You'll be adept in providing high level specialist advice and information to stakeholders on emerging issues and priorities.


Essential requirements

  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications or demonstrated equivalent, relevant professional experience.
  • Project management skills and experience with an understanding of contemporary best practice in managing project teams, consultants and contractors, and in applying environmental safety and risk management policies and systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing and reviewing strategic plans, policies and programs, and in providing strategic and operational advice and recommendations to senior management.
