About the role
This role supports the Marketing and Communications team by working closely with internal stakeholders to help plan and deliver marketing, communications and events that align with agency priorities. It involves contributing to the creation of content across digital, print and internal channels, assisting with reporting and evaluation, analysing data trends, and staying across marketing and media developments. In this function, you will need to adapt to changing priorities and find practical and innovative ways to meet diverse business needs.

About you

This role is suited to candidates who have practical, hands‑on experience in a marketing or communications environment (for example within government, an agency, not‑for‑profit or corporate setting). Our ideal candidate will bring to the role:

  • Demonstrated experience working with a range of internal stakeholders to support the delivery of marketing, communications and/or events activities, including coordinating inputs, managing requests and meeting competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated experience contributing to the creation and delivery of content across digital and traditional channels (e.g. social media, eDMs, newsletters, websites and print collateral), with an understanding of audience needs and brand requirements.
  • Proven ability to support the creation of engaging content across digital and traditional channels such as social media, eDMs, newsletters, websites and print collateral.
  • Awareness of contemporary marketing and media trends and ability to keep up with future developments
  • Proficiency in performing reporting, tracking, and evaluation tasks to generate insights for improving future campaigns.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

 

Essential Requirements

To be eligible to apply for this position, you must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident or hold a valid Australian working Visa for the duration of the appointment. 

Any offer of employment will be subject to a satisfactory National Police Check. You will also need to arrange a paid Working with Children Check at your own expense.
