The Nature and Natural Capital Strategy Branch is seeking an accomplished Manager, Nature Finance & Disclosure to lead a high-impact policy function at the intersection of environment, markets and financial disclosure. This is a senior leadership role for a strategic thinker who can translate complex policy into practical programs that deliver measurable environmental and societal outcomes.

In this role, you will set direction for nature finance and nature-related financial disclosure initiatives, oversee priority programs and projects, and drive innovation in how environmental value is recognised, measured and reported. You will provide expert advice to senior leaders and stakeholders, ensure delivery aligns with government priorities and actively identify opportunities to strengthen outcomes through collaboration across government, research institutions and the private sector.

About You
You are a visible and trusted leader who builds strong relationships and fosters open knowledge exchange across government, industry and research partners. You champion best-practice program and project delivery, bringing a continuous improvement mindset and a strong focus on collaboration and outcomes. You provide high-quality policy, strategic and operational advice at a senior level and have a proven ability to deliver complex projects on time and to impact. You also bring high-level knowledge and demonstrated experience in data and information science, supported by established professional networks, and play a key role in positioning NSW as a leader in nature finance, disclosure and natural capital outcomes.

Essential Requirements 

  • Tertiary qualifications in a science, economic or other relevant field.
