We are now looking for a capable and proactive Senior Business Support Officer to play a key role in supporting our People, Culture and Safety Division – the heart of our organisation.

About the role

This is not a traditional administrative role. As a Senior Business Support Officer, you will work closely with the Leadership Team and be a trusted partner in the development and delivery of strategic initiatives. You will combine strong organisation, sound judgement and a focus on delivery – and thrive in a fast-paced environment with varied responsibilities and a high level of trust.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and support projects that contribute to divisional and departmental objectives
  • Act as a central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
  • Prepare briefings, correspondence, presentations and executive-level support materials
  • Improve administrative systems and identify smarter ways of working
  • Identify emerging risks, trends and improvement opportunities before they escalate

 About You

We are looking for someone who is confident, professional and highly organised, with a proven ability to stay one step ahead. You bring strong experience in executive support, administration and/or project support, and you can balance multiple priorities without compromising quality or attention to detail.

You will succeed in this role if you:

  • Have excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Communicate clearly, concisely and appropriately for different audiences
  • Work effectively both independently and collaboratively
  • Handle sensitive information with integrity, discretion and sound judgement
  • Are solution-focused and comfortable working in a changing environment

Essential Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in providing high level executive, administrative and project support.
  • High-level organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work under pressure.
  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly when handling or drafting important documents.
