The role

The Senior People Reporting Analyst role focuses on transforming workforce data into clear, accurate, and actionable insights that support both strategic and operational decision‑making. Responsible for preparing and analysing people data, developing high‑quality reports and dashboards, and ensuring compliance with reporting obligations, you will help shape and uphold consistent organisational reporting standards. The role also provides informed advice on complex data requests while uncovering workforce trends, capability gaps, and emerging issues that strengthen the development of effective people strategies.

You will also play a key role in maintaining consistent organisational reporting standards by contributing to metric definitions, data governance practices, and quality assurance processes. This includes supporting mandatory reporting obligations and ensuring all reports meet statutory and departmental compliance requirements. The role also requires responding to complex, high‑priority data enquiries from executives and inter‑agency partners, ensuring insights are evidence‑based, accurate and timely.

Success in this role requires balancing competing priorities while working closely with a broad range of stakeholders to understand their analytics needs and deliver meaningful insights. Staying across evolving policies, trends, and statutory requirements is equally important, ensuring data processes, systems, and analytical approaches continue to mature and adapt over time.
