About the role

As a Services Officer, you will support Centre operations by carrying out minor maintenance, preparing facilities for client bookings, and assisting with day‑to‑day service delivery. You will work under general supervision and take responsibility for the quality of your own work. This role suits someone who enjoys practical tasks, teamwork and contributing to positive experiences for clients and visitors.

About you

The ideal candidate is someone who has a wide variety of maintenance/handyman skills. They must be able to follow through on assigned tasks, work cooperatively with others, and contribute positively to a team environment. They can plan and prioritise their work in a changing setting, use practical problem‑solving skills, and feel confident asking questions when needed. They take responsibility for their actions, follow safe work practices, and communicate clearly while maintaining a strong customer‑focused approach.

 

Essential Requirements

• Current Class C driver licence

• Ability to complete a pre‑employment medical and ongoing hearing tests

• Hawkesbury River Centres only: Coxswain Grade 1 Certificate (or willingness to obtain within 3 months)

This role will require you to work weekend and varied shifts.

Any offer of employment will be subject to a satisfactory National Police Check and any requisite pre-employment health assessment. You will also be required to arrange a Working with Children Check, at your own expense.
