An opportunity to play a key role in supporting and uplifting the Executive Coordinator network through coordination, guidance and best practice executive support

 

  • Exciting opportunity for 2 new starters to join our team for up to 2 years!
  • Temporary fulltime role at 35 hours per week plus FlexTime
  • Sydney CBD location & Hybrid working from home and office supported – 3 day per week requirement in the office
  • Salary range from $99,938 to $110,271 plus super and leave loading

EnergyCo NSW is spearheading the transition to renewable energy to deliver clean electricity to the people of NSW as coal-fired power stations near closure.

About the Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Administrative Officer to step into a pivotal role supporting a high-performing Executive Committee (EC) team. Operating in a fast-paced environment, you’ll provide a broad range of administrative and operational support services that keep the business unit running smoothly and efficiently. From complex diary management and executive support to coordinating records, preparing reports, and streamlining office systems, you’ll be at the centre of enabling effective business operations. This role is based at our 255 George Street office, with a requirement to work onsite three days per week.

You’ll be joining a team of 11 dedicated professionals who pride themselves on delivering high-quality outcomes. About You
You are an experienced administrative professional who has worked closely with executives and understands the pace, discretion and responsiveness required to support senior leaders. With strong diary management expertise and proven experience providing project and operational support, you confidently prioritise and reprioritise tasks in a dynamic environment. You are an open communicator, comfortable managing complex enquiries and skilled at ensuring information is accurate, accessible and delivered on time.

Your excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, enable you to build trusted relationships across teams and stakeholders. You are organised, proactive and solutions-focused, with a keen eye for improving processes and enhancing service delivery. Most importantly, you value teamwork and bring a positive, collaborative mindset that contributes to a supportive and high-performing culture.

Who we are?
The Energy Corporation of NSW (EnergyCo) is a statutory corporation established under the Energy and Utilities Administration Act 1987 and governed by its Board, appointed by the Minister for Energy.  EnergyCo is a Staff Agency employing all EnergyCo staff and is an agency related to the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW).

EnergyCo plays a pivotal role in the NSW Government’s Electricity Infrastructure Roadmap, which aims to transform the state’s electricity system into one that is cheap, clean, and reliable. As Infrastructure Planner under the Electricity Infrastructure Investment Act 2020, EnergyCo is responsible for leading the delivery of the State’s first five Renewable Energy Zones (REZs) and the first two priority transmission infrastructure projects (PTIPs), which are located in the Central-West Orana, New England, South West, Hunter-Central Coast, and Illawarra regions. We work closely with communities, investors, and industry to investigate, plan, recommend and coordinate generation, storage and network infrastructure projects.
